Position: Oracle Applications Tester Duration: 4 – 6 months Start Date: ASAP Location: Emeryville, CA - Techno Functional experience in implementation, customization experience on Oracle Applications 11i/12 *focus on **Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, Supply chain manufacturing (BOM, INV, WIP)* - Write complex SQL (Pl/SQL) to validate various aspects of the system - Strong team skills as well as the ability to work independently - Experience testing Conversions, interfaces, Data migration, customization for ERP implementations. r12 is preferred ********************* *Purpose/Objective: * This position will support the company’s Oracle ERP Implementation project by leading all aspects of the testing phase. This person will be responsible for guiding all testing activities, including coordinating with the technical and functional team leaders. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* • Defines and implements testing strategies for all the oracle EBS implementation • Plan, organize and execute all aspects of the testing lifecycle. • Understands system performance requirements and develops load, stress and performance testing based on project or release need, working with the Architecture team. • Validate data integrity, data quality, and data management. • Attend design meetings, review Design/Requirement Documents and create test plans and test cases. • Write complex SQL (Pl/SQL) to validate various aspects of the system. • Conducts gating reviews between project phases/cycles to ensure that all phase/cycle deliverables are complete and of a requisite quality to allow the project to proceed. • Defines quality and testing requirements for the acceptance criteria of targeted modules. • Clearly communicates testing and quality requirements to all levels of the organization as well as other relevant third parties. • Evaluates and evangelizes opportunities for the automation of the testing process and leads implementation efforts as required. • Creates and distributes regular status reports that clearly show the current state of system testing and deliverable quality. • As it pertains to Quality Assurance and Testing, acts as a mentor to other members of the testing team. • Leads an assigned team, as required, in the performance of relevant quality and testing functions across multiple e-business suite modules *Education and/or Experience: * • Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 5 years experience with enterprise application development and or system enhancement in a testing and or QA role • Must be process oriented with direct and relevant experience in test planning, defect identification, bug reporting and tracking, root cause analysis and the application of quality assurance • Experience in leading the testing of a large ERP implementation is preferred • Experience with automated testing tools QTP preferred *Skills & Aptitudes:* • Proven skills in the application testing methodologies and approaches • Ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions • Strong analytical skills • Strong communication (written and oral) skills and group facilitation skills • Ability to work collaboratively with consulting/technical team, business users and team members • Flexible and open to change and ambiguity • Conflict management skills Send resumes with your contact info, bill rate, availability & current location.
