QA Automation Lead Duration: Long Term- Open
Responsible for leading testing team of 7 people. Responsible for contributing to improvement of software development processes as well as ensuring that the software quality team follows the predefined process Capable of estimating schedules, determining project scope and driving projects to completion Ensure test plans that meet design specifications, report on testing cycle and help produce software that is reasonably free from defects Review product requirement documentation, participate in design sessions and provide stakeholders with a risk analysis for each product iteration. Communicates with Developers, Product Managers, Usability Works with Technical Support group to help perform root cause analysis of issues found in the wild Provides technical assistance and technical training to other departments as required programming techniques and new tools being used in the QA field Provide Leadership and supervision for the QA Team Train and Equip QA Team members with automation scripts or documentation (as needed). Monitor QA activity and schedule, escalate of QA issues to Project Manager (such as missed milestones), and approve release based on quality measurements.
