Hi partner, Please let me know, If you have any suitable consultants available on the below urgent requirement Title : J2EE Portal Architect Location : Secaucus, NJ Start Date : ASAP Duration : 6 + months Responsibilities: * Lead Architect to design a solution to bring the private extranet onto the public Internet WebSphere platform, integrating the following components: o User profiling o Content targeting o Progressive registration o Email notifications o Subscription based content and tools o Single Sign-on for multiple web applications * Assist technical development lead in implementing large scale global web application * Establishes the directions, guidelines, best practices in the area of WebSphere portal architecture, design and development * Evaluates current state system architectures to ensure that architectures are appropriate * Create system architecture document for existing and future solutions Current+technologies being use: IBM Websphere portal, Domino, .NET, Microsoft SQL server, REQUIREMENTS: * 10+ years of software development experience * STRONG/SENIOR LEVEL HANDS-ON architect. This person must be able to code. Their role is architecture * lead design and code review. They will be working with a team of architectures. * MUST BE VERY STRONG IN PORTALS and J2EE. * Minimum 5 years in architect role -- Broad architecture background, development experience, solid understanding of patterns and frameworks * Minimum 6 years experience in leading technical team members. * Experienced in designing and delivering large scale web applications for global users. * 3+ years experience with enterprise WebSphere Portal. Deep architectural understanding of the J2EE, WebSphere platform and the WebSphere Portal tool. * Minimum 5 years coding experience with Java, J2EE, Windows/IIS, XML and Web Services, JavaScript, CSS 2 * Strong experience with AJAX, DHTML and Web 2.0 technologies. * Experience with WebSphere Portal Factory, portlet to portlet communication, and WebSphere portal integration and presentation services. * Experience with RUP and entire lifecycle of WebSphere Portal adoption including the development process, configuration, and production roll out. * Knowledge in core technologies, including enterprise platforms, open standards, security frameworks, database, and integration technologies. * Expert knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs Plusses: * ADFS and .NET platform knowledge is strongly desired. * Development experience building Domino based web applications - Working experience of Lotus Notes application development and integration with WebSphere portal.
