This system will be used to capture data such as how customers are using their data. They are currently in the middle of the project and might go live early November. This is a Technical Specialist-level position requiring skill in a wide range of disciplines and the ability to own and handle many concurrent threads of work. The individual must be able to work independently *without hand-holding*, take initiative, and own/raise issues in a timely/proactive manner. Should take responsibility for his/her own deliverables and follow through until delivery. Must be pro-active and detail oriented. *Managers will be conducting in person interview *Top Required Skills:* 1. Strong Programming Skills 2. ETL Tools and Data transformation 3. Excellent Communication Skills *Required:* - SQL Server Development/Administration – Strong knowledge of database concepts, Significant experience both designing and implementing. Experience with backup/recovery, indexing, and partitioning, replicating, clustering techniques. – Expert Level - Experience with ETL tools and data transformation (*Informatica*PowerCenter 8: Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitoring) - .Net(C#) – Candidate should have solid programming skills to allow utility programming to compliment the ETL workflow. - Solid experience with file transfers via FTP/sFTP - Solid experience with WebServices - Microsoft Server 2003 - Installation/configuration/maintenance. - Experience with maintaining servers in a lab environment (racking, connectivity issues, diagnosing problems, etc) - Excellent communication skills - Must be flexible with start and end time.
