Requirement: POSITION PURPOSE: The primary purpose is to integrate and support critical server management tools during customer transition as well as day-to-day operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Server management tools integration and support - IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6 (ITM 6) * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent team player * Self-starting and highly motivated individual * Positive attitude and willing to take on new responsibilities * Regular, predictable attendance * Other duties at assigned This position greatly impacts both internal and external customers. The tools supported enable T-Systems and its customers' to proactively manage the infrastructure to identify potential issues before business is affected. QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum 5 years support of large distributed server environments. * A minimum 3 years support and integration of server management tools * Solid foundation in IT operations service delivery * Experience with server management products such as IBM Tivoli Monitoring version 6. * Experience with HP Openview Network Node Manager is preferred, but not required. * Experience with UNIX/Linux systems and shell/scripting languages would be preferred.
