The Application Engineer is a vital member of the Production Engineering team, leading deployment efforts for rollouts for the core underlying application platform that all MessageOne applications rely on. The application engineer will work within the data center infrastructure domain to research, evaluate, and properly introduce new application technologies as standards into the product line. This responsibility includes second tier service operations support, rotating day/night/weekend on call and escalation, and leading projects as assigned by the service operations manager. PE's primary goal is to keep environments functional so that they are available for use by customers, both internal and external. PE is also involved in helping Customer Support troubleshoot service availability problems and working with development and deployment on new products and features.
