This is a *Direct Client* Opening – *E-Commerce Web Developer* – *NYC, NY *– *4-6 months contract* *Please send your reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please do not send mails to this id.* *Job Description and Responsibilities:* · You will be the sole client contact for all technical issues. · Troubleshoot and fix basic issues with web applications and server configurations in Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server as well as Linux, PHP, mySQL , ColdFusion and Apache · Assist in the creation of detailed technical specifications and designs · Communicate with development teams · Resolve all technical issues for customer sites · Submit detailed and structured trouble tickets for escalated support issues. · Track trouble tickets and communicate progress to clients. *Requirements:* · Deep knowledge of web programming standards and capabilities: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP, AJAX, ColdFusion. · The majority of our legacy web applications are in ColdFusion, so a firm grasp of its capabilities, nuances and structure are required. · 5+ Years Experience in open source eCommerce development (Zen Cart preferred) · 2+ years experience with ColdFusion · 2+ Years Experience with live servers running Windows Server 2003, IIS and MS SQL 2000 and 2005. · 2+ Years Experience in customer service. · 2+ Years Experience with trouble ticketing systems. · Be able to identify and describe the functions and uses of the following terms: LAMP, FTP, API, XML, SSL, DNS, JQuery, Ajax · Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
