POSITION SUMMARY
:
Development and maintenance of sections of E*TRADE web sites, and is
accountable for the results of assigned projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:
% OF TIME- 70%
1.
Develop applications
·
Develop web page templates, perform unit testing, and provide troubleshooting
support using XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and XHTML.
·
Manage versioning of web assets such as graphics, HTML templates, JS, and style
sheets in the repository; knowledge of CVS version system preferred
·
Ensure that the code meets the required development standards and is optimized
for faster download
2.
Project Management
20%
·
Establish & maintain development environment
·
Provide status reporting of all tasks on a weekly basis to immediate managers
·
Provide representation of Web Development policies and practices on all
assigned projects
OTHER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
:

10%
·
Continually enhance knowledge and expertise, by staying current with existing
and new technologies
MINIMUM/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
·
At least 5 years of software development experience with good design skills.
·
Some experience developing high level frameworks.
·
Experience in development using DOJO preferred.
·
Experience using XML, XSL & XSLT
·
Some experience in CSS & HTML
·
Good written and spoken communication.
·
An understanding of electronic image formats
·
Highly motivated, detail oriented and extremely organized with proven ability
to establish priorities and execute to achieve results
·
Ability to work under tight deadlines and quickly and efficiently respond to
change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent
