*Project Execution* *Must be able to travel to Germany 25% of the
time.*
Minimum of 4-5 full life cycles with responsibility for requirements
analysis, blue print design, realization, testing and production-cutover
Provide information, analysis and decision making in the design, development
and implementation of the BI solution for a global SAP project
Coordinate the project technical activities in accordance with the overall
project schedule
Ensure Siemens, industry, and SAP best practices are being followed
Consider Siemens Energy IT strategy and vision in development of BI solution
Educate and guide teams towards use of standard BI content, yet recognize
where this is not possible or practical and propose alternatives
Provide leadership for technical decision-making to ensure the best outcome
Ensure high quality documentation is completed at all phases of the project
Deadline / milestone driven
Manage and escalate technical issues
Appreciate the implication of each decision within the context of the
project. This means having an innovative/think outside the box approach
balanced with an understanding of the budget/time/resource constraints of
the project. Regard this as an opportunity for developing the right
solution and not as a restriction
Verify hardware and software required for implementation
Risk assessment and business analysis experience
Experience in working in high pressure situations and successfully handling
multiple priorities
Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. Description:
*Leadership* Project management / leadership experience and experience
with project delivery methods
Develop and clearly communicate team approach
Meet with the project functional teams along with the BI Business Analyst to
refine requirements, define scope and determine resource requirements
Provide team leadership, technical guidance to solve problems, and serve as
the focal point for technical issues. Recommend escalation where necessary
and input into risk and issues logs
Represent the BI team in Business and IT meetings
Communicate BI team status to project and business management lead
Mentor and develop BI team members, defining roles and responsibilities
Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to people at all
levels of the organization
*BI and Industry-specific knowledge*
SAP BI 7.0 experience (minimum 1 life cycle)
Experience with extraction of data from R/3 modules: QM, SD, MM(-MRP), IM,
PLM, PP, WM, FI, CO
Strong experience in BI Architecture & Data Modeling ( DSO, Cube,
Aggregates, MultiProvider, Process Chains)
Experience in BI Reporting (Business Explorer (BEx), Visual Composer)
Experience in BI authorizations
Good ABAP skills
Strong technical background
Ideally experience in the Manufacturing industry
Experience in core SCM, FI/CO and PLM Processes
