*Reply to [email protected]* *Role:* P*roject Manager (Technical).* *Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.* *Duration: 12 Months.* * **Rate: $50/-hr.* * **Job Description:* The Project Manager will oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of a web-based application (EZARC Project) for filing unemployment claims. The purpose of the EZARC project is to provide a web-based application for claimants to file initial claims. In addition, EZARC will also provide claimants with a one-stop shop for filing both initial and continued claims online. *The key objectives are:* § To provide claimants with a convenient way to file initial claims via the Internet. § To create a transparent, single entry to DWS' initial and continued claims systems. § To implement standard security measures around end-user login and SSN validation and authentication. § To provide an accessible web service for the visually impaired for filing initial and continued claims - all Pages. § Directs the development of project goals, budgets, work plans, timelines, project reports, and implementation strategies for agency projects. § This includes development of project scope of work and design criteria and management of the project schedule, budget and staffing. § Must have solid experience with project management methodologies and processes. § Must be able to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details. § Must be able to work independently or in a team and proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers. § Must follow the agency's standard documentation and reporting formats. *Functions:* § Develops project plan and schedule based on project scope and timeline. § Identifies, tracks, manages and resolves project issues. § Disseminates project information to all stakeholders. § Prepares budget and cost estimates to determine necessary funding for project. § Obtains agreement and signoff of project requirements from Project Sponsors. § Ensures solution meets project requirements and quality standards. § Defines and collects metrics to manage project progression. § Manages the overall work plan and scope to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget. § Utilizes a change management process to monitor changes to project plan and scope. § Facilitates meetings and documents outcome. § Supervises and coordinates professional, technical, and non-technical staff. § Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the program plan. § Responsible for the capture and reporting of required program management metrics. § Prepares status reports on a periodic basis for program team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders. § Responsible to tailor and baseline all program templates. § Accountable to schedule or monitor status reviews, peer reviews, program management inspections, and software quality assurance work product and process reviews with the appropriate designated resources. § Accountable for the approval and sign-off of the program plan with customer representatives, such as portfolio managers, and all affected program stakeholders. § Identify and manage program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies, track to closure. *Minimum Requirements:* § Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management. § Ability to work with users, understand their business practices and manage their expectations. § Ability to manage the identification and estimation of project cost, maintain appropriate project cost analysis, and deliver projects within approved budget and timeframe for medium to large sized projects. § Ability to develop and manage a high level project budget. § Ability to multitask and handle ambiguity. § Ability to provide status reports to stakeholders in varying formats. § Ability to communicate with technical and non technical personnel. § Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and team collaboration skills. § Knowledge of system development lifecycle principles and processes. § Ability to assign tasks and manage other resources * * *Requires Skills:* *Skill* *Required / Desired* *Amount of Experience* IT Web Application Development Program/Project Management Required 5 Years Project Management Processes and Tools Required 5 Years Developing & Managing Project Timelines Required 5 Years Microsoft Project Required 5 Years Developing Testing Strategy, Tools and Procedures for Major Software Enhance Required 5 Years Quality Management & Measurement within an Applications Environment Required 5 Years Working with MS SQL Server Required 5 Years PMP Certification Required Superior Presentation Skills Required 10 Years Six Sigma Highly desired John IT PEOPLE INC 1528, Finley Plano, TX , 75025 Work : 972-203-7193 Fax : 9725175283 E-Mail : [email protected] Web : www.it-peopleinc.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
