Sharepoint Development Opportunity:
The government has assigned a Task Order to implement SharePoint across the
JFCOM. This position is located at Norfolk Naval base.
Day to day job responsibilities: These developers will join a team of 14.
They will have 4 main responsibilities: 1) Configuration changes in
SharePoint 2) Use of the Designer tool to make enhancements to the sites 3)
.Net development in SharePoint to create custom web features (this is the
heavy lifting of the project). 4) SharePoint Administration.
Development work is done in C# and ASP.NET
Technical Environment: MOSS 2007
Size of group: 12 developers on the team with 1 trainer and 1 DBA

About the Position
We need a Software Engineer with strong experience using .NET (C#) to round
out our skill set. The Software Engineer will work as part of a team
implementing content managements systems, integrating back-end systems,
developing Web 2.0 applications, and other projects. This position is best
for someone who likes to work on more than one project at a time, wants to
learn new technology, has a desire to "figure it out", and likes to be part
of a team finding and implementing a solution.
Required Skills/Experience:
• 3 or more years experience in a programming role • Solid experience and
skills in .NET (C# preferred) • Experience developing client-facing Web
