 ***Blue Shield of California Job Description:*

The ETL Design/Lead will be working alongside 1 ETL Developer and a Project
Manager that will be managing up to 3 teams. Each team will be responsible
for developing one single datamart. They will be responsible for
facilitating mapping sessions with Rosetta/IA and Facets SME’s (all of which
are in place and mainly from EDS). They will be responsible for the
documenting Facets to Rosetta data mart mapping and data selection
criteria.  Additionally they will be designing and documenting ETL
specifications and test plans along with reviewing & verifying ETL code.
They will lead on-shore ETL development and be the support of Systems
Integration and User Acceptance testing.



The Shield Advance project that this consultant will be a part of is a
multi-million dollar, 5+ year long project that is focused on moving all of
their current data to a Facets data mart. They have COBOL code feeding into
a IA datamart (Rosetta legacy system) and are challenged with the project to
load this data into a Facets datamart.

***Must Have:*

1. 5+ years of Informatica/ETL Development experience (8.1 or higher)

2. Oracle, physical database design and PL/SQL coding experience

3. Hands on working knowledge of FACETS data and/or Rosetta data marts

4. Dimensional modeling/data modeling experience

5. Experience with hierarchical databases, ability to trace through COBOL
code, and an Informatica guru
