*Job Description:*
Responsibilities: Develops and executes test cases to ensure the delivery of
quality applications. Participates in test planning, creating test
scenarios, test cases/scripts for manual & automated testing. Experience in
testing web applications, interfaces & databases. Ability to work
effectively with cross functional teams
Required:
• Knowledge of FACETS is highly preferable.
• Good understanding of SDLC and should have 3 – 4 years of experience in
software testing and has overall 5-7 years of experience in web, mainframe
and client server applications
• Demonstrated experience using Mercury Quality Center, QTP for test
management, test execution, and defect reporting activities
• Experience working with online billing applications, banking transactions
preferred
• Background with integration testing of subsystems, web services and their
application to business functions/processes
• Should have previous healthcare experience. Good knowledge of XML and EDI
related file formats
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced,
deadline-driven environment
• Have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills and
capable of completing work with minimal supervision
Skills:
Testing tools such as: HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro or Rational Robot.
Performance Testing tools: Load Runner
MS Applications: Access, Word, Power Point and Excel
Language: Java, VB, and SQL
