Technologies Company is currently looking for Sr. UNIX/LINUX Administrator for Michigan area. This is an ongoing long term project. Initially this is a contract position and after 6 months client will like to hire candidate on a full time basis. This position is open for GC, Citizen and EAD Holder.
This is a Right to hire full time position with Client. UNIX/LINUX Administrator will design, install, configure, administer, tune, and optimize AIX, UNIX and Linux systems servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. The Administrator will provide 24x7 support to a Red Hat Linux and IBM AIX environment. Administrator will also provide support for IBM SAN and Tivoli Backup Manager. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1) Bachelor's Degree in a business related area. 2) Strong management and coordination skills (people and project). 3) Good relationship builder (i.e. cooperative approach) 4) Proven experience in complex ERP environment. 5) Certification in UNIX/Linux administration highly desirable. 6) Strong experience in IBM AIX advanced virtualization. 7) Strong experience in IBM SAN management. 8) Strong experience in IBM Tivoli Backup management.
