Position Type: Full-Time/Regular/C2C Job Description We need a software developer to help build our Matlab-based global analytics platform. This person will have coding and software engineering experience and be able to bring both computer science principles and a rapid application development methodology to produce support a dynamic front office. Required Skills Candidate will be both retrieving and storing large data sets in an Oracle database Must be proficient in Oracle SQL queries and performance tuning Developer will be responsible for maintaining and creating new functionality within the Research application. Developer must be proficient with regard to coding Matlab applications. Developer must be proficient with regard to coding C# / .Net / Java applications Developer must be willing to work in a fairly independent fashion as this person will be working directly with the users of the application. Candidate will be working with end user traders who will have data requirements that will need to be taken from a requirements phase to development to production (full software development life cycle) Will be responsible for coordinating with Front Office DBA and ETL resources to migrate existing data structures to a standardized data warehouse.
