Perform analysis, functional and technical design, construction, testing, and implementation phases of Java applications. Responsible for mentoring team members, reviewing design and code, and coordinating assigned projects utilizing comprehensive project management practices. Candidates must have strong service oriented, interpersonal skills and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidates must have strong technical, organization, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Required q Bachelor’s Degree. q At least 6 years development experience including at least 3 years experience on large-scale software development teams. Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle and workflow, estimation and target date planning, work plan development and monitoring, quality assurance, development methods/techniques and testing methods and techniques, solution development and evaluation of alternatives. Experience must be current within last year. q At least 3 years Java coding experience. Experience must be current within last year. q At least 3 years Java Servlet coding experience. Experience must be current within last year. q At least 3 years experience with JDBC. q At least 3 years experience with XML, JSP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript coding. q At least 3 years experience with Java Server Faces Framework. q At least 2 years experience with Eclipse 3.2 and above or Websphere Studio Rational Application Developer v 5 and above. q At least 1 year experience with Facelets technology. q Experience with Spring 2.0 and above. q Experience with Ibatis or Hibernate. q At least 3 years experience with relational databases, including complex SQL accessing a large, complex application database and logical data modeling. Experience must be current within last year. q Experience participating in production support activities of a team, with focus on timely and accurate resolution of issues. q Experience mentoring in internet application development and design techniques. q Must have excellent communication skills.
