Job Title : ETL Consultant
Job Description :
The ETL Consultant specializes in the design and development of the
ETL environment, processes, programs, and scripts to acquire data from
source systems and apply the data to the tables in the database. This
individual must have the skills necessary to understand the overall
data warehouse architecture. The ETL Consultant designs and builds the
ETL environment with the specific toolset required by the client. The
ETL Consultant may also provide input to the database designer to
optimize the data loading of the physical database. The ETL Consultant
may be the Lead Consultant on a project;
Additional Job Description:
10+ yrs experience Architecting, Designing, and leading DataStage
Development efforts on Teradata. Excellent communication,
organization, leadership, and writing/documentation skills. Will have
primary responsibility for leading/directing a team of DataStage
designers and developers in a Teradata environment. Responsible for
defining, documenting, and leading the implementation of repeatable
ETL design patterns, ETL Design specifications, and quality/timeliness
of delivery for multiple parallel projects. Reporting to the Teradata
Project Manager and Enterprise Architect. Work Schedule: On-site
Monday noon to Friday noon. Some remote work may be required.
Expenses: Reasonable travel and living expenses will be reimbursed
within the Teradata travel guidelines.
