Experience and knowledge of MS Windows server and SQL environments including MS SQL in a clustered configuration. Hands-on experience with servers, storage area networks. Attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; oral communication skills and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provides excellent customer service including on-call support to end-users Administers and maintains network end user accounts, permissions and access rights Deploys, configures and maintains servers, including email, application, file and print servers and software when required. Uses industry best practices for server administration, including backups and recovery Creates and maintains computer images containing district-approved and licensed software; Installs approved network software and deploys network applications through ZENWorks Perform hardware and software upgrades as required when newer version software packages are released. Migrate, maintain and support Novell's ZENworks 7 to Novell's Zenworks Configuration Management Suite. Maintain and support Novell's Identity Manager supporting an Edustructures SIF and eDirectory to eDirectory environment. Monitor and maintain network DHCP and DNS services.
