You should be able to understandthoroughly the end-to-end application support process and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all tools to provide effective end-to-end application support. There are multiple interfacing modules that upload/download information from Promerit which needs to be designed/developed/enhanced. Since the application is rule based a thorough understanding of creating rules adhering to ANSI SQL standards of SQL server is needed. Since our portfolio includes several other applications primarily built using C++ or C#, will work in these languages and help contribute across projects. *Functional Responsibilities:* Specific tasks include but are not limited to: · Supporting Promerit application · Design, develop and implement interfacing modules with Promerit · Contribute whenever possible to the development tasks associated with other applications with in the product line. · Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered in Production. · Understand the bank’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. Understand how Support tasks fits with the SDLC process. · Work with other members of the DEV/QA/Support team to improve our processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency. · Familiarize with the applications, tools, feeds, databases, and batch files etc that are being supported. · Comply with knowledge base management processes. Ensure that the knowledge base is maintained with high standard. *SKILLS:** * *Required Skills:* · Working experience with Promerit application and as well as Mortgage Loan processing · C++/C# and ASP.Net programming experience · Writing SQLs/ stored procedures in SQLServer/Sybase · Has experience of the software development lifecycle. · Has a continued desire to work across multiple projects whenever there is a requirement. · Excellent communicating skills and experience supporting end users with their day-to-days issues. · Ability to coordinate cohesively with the development/support/business analysis team · Willingness and enthusiasm to perform in this specific role that is a combination of developer and support specialist.
