*Title:Technical writer** Duration:6 months Location:Portland, OR Market Rate * Our client is currently engaged in a project to procure a Mental Health and Addiction Services Division (MHASD) information system. A Sr. Business Analyst documented existing business workflows for the past 6 months. The person in this assignment will take the existing workflows and document system requirements, interface requirements, reporting specifications, as well as a number of other technical documentation in order to publish the RFP. The project consists of: • Meeting with customer to determine and write requirements specifications for MHASD business processes. • Writing Requirements Specifications for the Request for Proposal (RFP). • Working under the direction of the Project Manager who will establish priorities and will maintain the overall project schedule. • Coordinating with the customer to identify requirement priorities. • Coordinating with other IT staff. • Creating/updating technical documentation. The following are required. • Advanced ability in writing requirements specifications. • Advanced ability to write, create, and maintain technical documentation. • Advanced knowledge of Mental Health/Behavioral Health business processes and workflows. ( DO NOT SEND RESUMES WITHOUT THIS EXP) • Advanced expertise in working with customers to obtain software requirements. • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Visio. • Uses clear oral and written communication. • Advanced composition, writing skills, and analytical skills. The following are preferred. • Knowledge of Behavioral Health Information Systems. • Knowledge of Mental Health and Healthcare insurance billing processes.
