The individual will be responsible for migrating up to 30 applications to use the latest version of the DB2 client. This includes building the application in RAD, configuring the application to use the newer DB2 client, testing and supporting the deployment through our TEST, QA and PROD environments.In 2010, there will be an enterprise upgrade of the DB2 platform from version 8 to version 9. This requires that all applications using DB2 be migrated to v9 of the client connection software. This migration is time sensitive and must be completed by March 2010 in preparation of the enterprise DB2 migration.
