*Job Description*
Below is a list of criteria we are looking for in a JAVA/J2EE Developer
resource. This is for a 6-12 months contract with a rate of US$50/hr all
inclusive
- Senior developer with at least 5 year of hard core Java.
- Core webapp tech - Servlets, JSP, JSTL, XML api's and processing.
- Deep with one or more webapp frameworks - Struts, Grails, Lift,
Spring Web Flow...
- Core HTML tech - xhtml, css, JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript/Ajax libraries - jquery,
prototype/scriptaculous, yui, etc...
- ORM experience, particularly JPA and Hibernate.
- Multithreaded experience.
- Strong Oracle sql experience.
- Experience with distributed applications.
- Service Oriented development, particularly REST/XML-over-HTTP/JSON.
- Experience with Flex/Server integration.
- Experience with additional API’s/Protocols - SOAP, JAX-RS, etc.
- RAW socket communication experience.
- Experience working in a very agile/iterative environment.
- Experience using many open source libraries and tools, and even
better if you contribute to OS projects.
- Experience with Eclipse, CVS, SVN, Atlassian tools.
- Experience and comfortable working in a polyglot environment.
- Java, JavaScript, Actionscript, XML, ANT, SQL, Unix shell, Groovy,
Scala, etc.
- Strong Object Oriented design skills and design pattern experience.
- Must have solid analytical skills.
- Able to work very independently within a team.
- MUST be local to Jacksonville, FL area
