Job Title : Java with GIS(4 positions) Location : Jacksonville, Florida Duration : 6-12 Months contract (1) These positions will be strictly Java with GIS no .Net 8am - 5p – 6-12 month contract – 3 positions Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new GIS applications or enhancements to existing applications using ESRI development tools ArcObjects and ArcSDE. Development languages should include Java (including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets) or .Net. Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming. Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners. 6+ years of prior Java 4+ years of GIS ArcObjects and ArcSDE experience required (2) 8-5p – 6-12 month Contract – 1 position Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide systems. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Create patches and updates as needed. Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems. Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and networking hardware and software. 3-5 years of experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required.
