Certified as a CISSP and/or CISA; 3. Proven experience successfully managing an information security program in a regulated industry; 4. Proven experience successfully planning and implementing large, cross-functional, complex security solutions; 5. Proven experience reporting on sensitive and/or critical risks and issues to executive management; 6. Proven experience building strategic relationships with industry with industry contacts in both the public and private sectors; 7. Proven knowledge of current and relevant information security threat countermeasures including, but not limited to, all of the following: VPN, PKI, Digital Signatures, Smart Cards, IPS, NAC, Firewalls, data encryption, enterprise anti-virus/anti-malware, system hardening, and wireless security; and 8. Prior experience developing technical controls to align with business requirements. 9. Any of the following industry certifications: CISM, HISP, and/or GIAC; and 10.
