The Network Architect needs to help with designing the project, define roles for current contractors such as network teams, DB's, etc. The data center is 500 Sql Servers 2008. *Summary*: The Network Engineer designs, implements, configures, troubleshoots, analyzes and supports Acxiom's and customer networks. They are responsible for maintaining network stability, to include hardware and software. * Duties and Responsibilities*: · Implements, configures, analyzes and supports Acxiom's internal data communications systems which may include the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Internet system or network system segment(s). · Designs network solutions with internal Acxiom teams and external clients based on need and capabilities. Provides change management. · Coordinates with vendors for installations that may include routers, concentrators and switches. · Performs Network disaster recovery operations. · Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other network and system problems and replaces defective components when necessary. · Provides real time escalation response for support issues. · Provides incident management. Creates and maintains metrics on network performance. · Acts as focal point for all network reviews.
