Role : Oracle-PL/SQL Engineer with batch script and Clearcase Experience!



Location:  Phoenix, AZ   

 

Date resource is required: 03/05/2010

 

Anticipated end date: 12/31/2010

 

Rate : 35 hr C2C

 

 

Position Description:  Experience Level: 4 year degree and 5+ years  

 

Assist the department in PL SQL needs on a highly visible application.  Some
night time production support required every other month and daytime Tier 2
support as needed.  Familiarity with database architecture and complex PL
SQL package coding.  Ability to work with teams in a fast paced environment.

 

several years of Oracle PL/SQL experience in coding complex packages that
apply business rules to data loaded to a central table.  The person should
also be able to understand how to kick off jobs utilizing dos batch scripts
and be able to trace errors back to either the database or the batch job.
We utilize Clear Case for source control so knowledge there would be very
useful.  The person will need to work with users on occasion in a tier 2
help desk support role and will need to help with production work on at
least 3-4 nights every other month.

 

 

Platform and Skill Set Expertise: 

Database Development : Oracle, Source Code Control : ClearCase
