Leading New York City based Bank is in need of multiple Java Developers for long term projects. Key to roles is strong core Java skills. Must have 5 + yeasr of design and development experience focused on core Java server oriented components. J2EE components are used by this firm, however, they are heavily customized using core Java. Must have skills with enhancing performance of applications using such concepts and methods. Degree in computer science is required. Firm does embrace Agile Development Methodology. Must have skills with the following: 1. Memory Models 2. Data Structures 3. Cache (They store up to half a terabyte using cache) 4. Algorithms/ and associated performance enhancements 5. Multi-threaded components Further skills include: 1. Databases and strong SQL 2. UNIX and Shell/ Perl 3.
