1. Informatica Management
. User creation and management
. Informatica Code Management and migration
. ETL Environment(Informatica) outage participation (Shutdown and
startup of Informatica service)
. Informatica Client tools management and resolve any issues for any
developers and Helping them in trouble shooting while development and
testing.
. Helping Application Support team solving Informatica
Infrastructure Related issues and Providing 24*7 Support
. Take back up of Informatica Repository.
. Imparting Informatica Admin Knowledge transfer to Admin team.
. Reviewing and approving RFC as an approver for Informatica group.
2. ETL Code management
. Understand CVS environment and processes for ETL code management
. Manage ETL Code versions
3. ETL Environment configuration and maintenance
. Understand the ETL application server details
. Understand the directory structures and permissions etc for the
ETL server.
. Understand the space requirements and space management
configurations for the file systems.
. Understand the Prod Support ETL environment.
. Understand the Setups and configurations of ETL users (Unix users,
Dev, Qual, prod, infaqdw, infaqdw, infaqdw etc)
. Understand various components and key entries in the components
used in the ETL environment setup like Tnsnames.ora.
4. ETL Framework scripts
. Informatica related framework scripts (K-shell scripts, understand
the scripts and performance maintenance and troubleshoot any issues)
Teradata Related framework scripts (K-shell scripts, understand the scripts
and performance maintenance and troubleshoot any issues)
