Needed: Data Center Resources (2) - One Senior, One Junior
Location: Plano, TX & Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $40 for Junior
$45 for Senior
· Anticipated *start date is 4/5/2010*
· This could potentially be a long term, up to 5 years, engagement.
· 1 resource local to Plano, TX and 1 resource local to Auburn
Hills, MI.
Client has a need for two (2) Data Center resources - One in Plano, TX and
one in Auburn Hills, MI.
Resources will need to have Data Center experience and the GM "Cornerstone"
Data Center guidelines will be made available to the chosen resources. The
Data Centers will then need to be raised to the level of the guidelines and
maintained.
Responsibilities:
· Manage GM Cornerstone compliance within SMCs
· Own GM inventory
· SME during Executive Tours
· Oversee Hardware changes
· SME for hardware (physical inventory, moves, ad-hoc queries,
tagging, ADMS updates)
· Assist with other non-GM activities
· Two (2) Resources. One at Plano and one at Auburn. One will lead
and own the role and other will be active participant as well as backup
lead.
Role/Responsibilities on Engagement:
Organize efforts to meet facility requirements set in the GM cornerstone
guideline documents. Work on hardware tagging efforts with hosting asset
management team. Participate in any physical inventory efforts deemed
necessary by asset team.
Skills Required:
· Use of various Online systems to maintain inventory.
· Adept at desktop tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft
Word.
· Organizational skills to maintain large amounts of inventory
information and associated tools.
· People skills with an ability to interface with multiple
individuals an various levels of management both internal and customer.
· Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
· Must have excellent customer facing skills.
