Must be able to articulate what is going on and why you must execute items to alleviate or fix the issues. • Basic Scripting knowledge to write scripts to run from command line for random monitoring or gathering of data needs. • Proactive verbal and written communication skills, including good, active listening skills. Scope and Additional Information: Position Description The E-Commerce System Engineer is responsible for defining, planning, implementing, and overseeing tasks, projects and other initiatives in support of the Lowes.com Infrastructure. These projects span across multiple areas including AIX, Linux, IBM WebSphere, and IBM WebSphere Commerce. The position will mainly focus on WebSphere implementations and interface with numerous internal constituents as well as external third parties.
