Telecom Consulting/Analyst Position:
The VoIP Telecom Consultant will work as a business advisor to provide
timely, high quality client service to one of our biggest clients. The
successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem
solving skills, a strong work ethic, and good client relations.

Responsibilities will include:
•       Evaluating and assessing client's voice and data communication
systems.
•       Evaluating carrier services as it relates to voice services and
recommending alternative solutions.
•       Evaluate and understand the client’s business requirements for
handling voice calls and distribution of those calls throughout the
organization.
•       Researching and identify limitations with current system design.
•       Identify and recommend alternative solutions and improvements.
•       Develop product specifications and requirements for future designs.
•       Presenting telecommunications demonstrations to clients.
•       Work with existing Data and Telecom team to complete overarching
design changes.
•       Establishing rapport and trust with key client staff members.
•       Work with OSSI Administrative Team to create all documentation of
findings, recommendations and solutions.

Position Requirements:
•       Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related experience
•       3-5 years experience working in a telecommunications or VOIP
Engineering role
•       Broad knowledge of PBXs, Key Systems, VoIP Protocols and Carrier
Services
•       Experience and knowledge with either Cisco, Avaya, 3Com, Toshiba and/
or ShoreTel VoIP solutions
•       Experience with VoIP network designs, including QoS configurations

Preferred Skills
•       3-5 years of IT consulting experience strongly preferred
•       Excellent customer service/relation skills
•       Strong problem solving skills and ability to provide hands-on
technical support
•       Ability to travel to client sites located in Northern Virginia
•       Ability to work remotely and at client sites
