Position : SAP Functional Consultant Duration : 6+ months
Location : SE Pennsylvania or Central New Jersey. Rate : open General assignment requirements: 8+ Years of total IT experience. 6+ years SAP hands-on experience over multiple assignments deploying SAP solutions following the ASAP methodology. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, yet work independently with little supervision. Strong oral/written English skills. Oral and written skills in French, Spanish or German will be a plus. Specific assignment Requirements: The consultant will be part of a team that will implement Billing, Accounts Receivable and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) functionality in the North America and EMEA regions. The consultant will provide the SAP expertise in Customer Billing and Accounts Receivables area using via Lockbox (US only) and Direct Debit payments (EMEA region). Experience in implementing Credit Card based sales functionality. The consultant will be required to author the functional specifications changes for the required functionality in the Billing and AR areas; subsequently the consultant will coordinate and participate in the testing effort of the implemented functionality across the regions. The consultant will be required to develop the project deliverables documents for the development and configuration work performed by her/him. Prior experience with BAI2 or ISO20022 banking interface protocols. The consultant must be able to develop and execute test scripts, must have experience working with EDI and XML formats, must have knowledge of SAP IDOC processing, and must have experience working with EDI and SAP transaction outputs. The consultant should be familiar with other tools such as testing tools (Mercury Quality Center), integration tools (like TIBCO), and setting up of security profiles, etc. The consultant should have experience working on large ERP SAP projects that had interfaces to non-ERP systems. Desired Skills: Some knowledge of ABAP programming/debugging is desired but not required. Experience with working on global implementations with multiple time-zones will be a plus. Up to 50% travel in North America (including Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico) and Europe may be required during certain phases of the project.
