Keys to the Job
1. 5+ years of Citrix Administration experience
2. Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 or higher is a must (Our client is
currently running 4.0)
3. Virtualization experience
4. Upgrade experience
5. Ability to drive new initiatives
6. Strong Leadership skills - ability to deal with vendors, manage an
offshore 3rd shift resource, ability to manage to a budget
7. Experience with XenDesktop, Xenapp, and Provisioning Server are all
a big +*

High Level Overview - Citrix is stable and there are typically only a few
support calls that come in. This resource will check and critique the daily
report from the third shift offshore resource (this is a small part of the
job).
This resource will also be responsible for driving new initiatives including
upgrades (from 4 to 4.5 or 5.0), Virtualization, Web Interfaces, support 80+
citrix Servers which will drop to around 60+ once they go to a virtual
environment. The resource needs to have excellent interpersonal,
documentation and communication skills. Resources may be asked to be on
call 3-4 weekends a year.*
