Please send me your updated resume at [email protected] Informix Database Administrator / Informix DBA Location: - Bangalore Responsibilities • Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. • Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. • Around 5 years of experience in the field • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. • Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.. • Ideal candidate should also possess strong Informix data replication server skills with production support experience in a global environment. • Responsibilities include ongoing system administration, configuring, managing, performance tuning and troubleshooting. • The ideal candidate would be having 3-5 years of experience in Informix database technologies and the archiving and installation of the full Informix suite on both HP UX(Unix) and NT boxes.
