*Location: 55 water street, NY* *Duration: 6 months* * * *Required Skills:* • *8+ years hands-on development of large scale financial and capital markets systems, e.g. risk management systems (credit, market), trading systems, etc.* *• 3+ years in database development and query performance/tuning* • Experience in building features and functionality for *Java EE application that leverages Spring, JSF, and Hibernate.* • Strong programming skills* in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML * • Strong proficiency in open source development on a Windows and Linux platform using tools such as* Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, Subversion, Maven, JUnit, JBoss, etc.* • Strong interaction skills in with business users and excellent communications (verbal and written) • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently • Ability to perform well under stress to deliver on committed timelines Strong documentation discipline for all SDLC artifacts – business requirements, functional specifications and detailed design** *Additional Requirement/Responsibilities: * · Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. · Helps to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. · May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. · Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. · Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. · Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. · May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
