Duration: 12 months.
This is with reference to one of my direct client requirement in MN
looking for PeopleSoft  nVision Technical  Consultant on 12+ months
contract. Consultant should have expertise in trading/accounting/
system work involving system development and maintenance, compilation
and analysis of data from our financial and trading applications,
including PeopleSoft and other applications.  , this role may require
skills in project management, system and/or work process design,
business analysis, and report development skills.   Collaboration with
Business Units, IT and operations teams is an inherent part of each
implementation.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
4 year college degree in business or equivalent experience
Ability to take initiative and work autonomously and as part of a
group.
2 – 3 years accounting and/or 2-3 years financial trading/ledger
systems design experience
Ability to coordinate and facilitate discussion with multiple
constituencies and to bring the groups to consensus.
Ability to work with customers at various levels within an
organization
Experience with PeopleSoft nVision report development tool
Problem Solving:
Independent judgment is required to organize priorities to meet
deadlines.  Strong analytic skills.  As reporting needs change, this
position will need to develop new reports and reconciliation methods
to accommodate the changes.
Specialized Knowledge and/or Skill:
Flexible, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities and very
organized.  Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
and good listening skills.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills, have the ability to investigate
problems, find solutions and determine best approach to resolve
issues.
Demonstrates strong customer focus and desire to improve processes and
find solutions to meet customer needs.
Financial analysis and reporting experience.
Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and handle multiple
demands.
Principal Accountabilities:
Define report definitions and requirements with our business unit
partners – 65%
Handle day-to-day financial accounting system functions including data
support via reports.  This can include report and query creation,
understanding key tables that support our customers corporate and
management reporting. - 15%
Improve and implement efficient reporting functionality.  Help
business units reduce manual processes by providing reporting
solutions. - 15%
Ensure all reporting procedures, policies and internal controls are
documented and followed on a daily basis to ensure data integrity -
5%
