Greetings from Computech Corporation,** Reply me on *[email protected]*<[email protected]> Location: *Purchase-NY-US * Duration:3 months Skill Sets: DW, Crystal Reports, Net /ASP / Java, application support * Job Description:* § Systems Analyst II Participates in the analysis, design and the preparation of application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installing them. § Works with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes (e.g., diverse development platforms, application systems, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.). § Formulates logical statements of business, scientific and/or engineering requirements. § Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design considering existing systems, available technology, the capacity and limitations of equipment, operating time and form of desired results. § Works with development, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout the development and installation processes. § Assists in the design and implementation of a detailed systems test plan to ensure an accurate and effective product. § May give some direction and guidance to other systems analysts. Prepares charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, utilizing, if necessary, various business, scientific and/or engineering mathematical techniques. § Analyzes existing system logic difficulties and revises the logic and procedures involved as necessary. § May assist in the supervision and preparation of logic flow charting. § May act as Project Leader and be involved in providing assistance and training to lower level systems analysts. § Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. § Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related discipline and 2 - 4 years experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. § Knowledge of the client area functions and applications, and an in-depth knowledge of system and technology alternatives is preferred. Support Law, Aviation and Facilities applications and address the system and information needs of those functional areas. Partner with the business, understand their needs, and be able to design, develop, and drive implementations of quality solutions. The selected candidate will be part of a highly dynamic, effective and efficient team. The position requires an advanced skill level in the following competencies: • Facilitate discussions to define detailed requirements and business processes, create project timelines, and manage budgets and resources. • Track project progress, address issues, identify and mitigate risks • Build relationships with peers, business partners, and vendors • Navigate change request prioritization and negotiation • Execute formal project management methodology\SDLC • Assemble and deliver written and verbal communications • Ability to work independently and work on a fast paced, high pressure team br> ** This role requires an innate ability to multitask as well as the skill of working in a fast paced, changing environment where successful dealing with ambiguity is key.
