3-6 months project Location - King of Prussia, PA Experience with OA Framework and Java is required. Experience with HTML quoting and an understanding of the Oracle Applications is required. Duration is 5 months with the possibility of an extension. Summary of Position - Sr. Java Developer will be integral to the technical implementation of Sales and Channels Storefronts using HTML Quoting, iStore, Service Contracts, Configurator, etc. Duties & Responsibilities- • Develop and maintain OA Framework pages related to the Stores • Develop and maintain JSP pages related to the Stores • Develop and maintain Java and/or PL/SQL code related to the Stores • Work closely with business users to propose solutions to issues • Work with Channels and Sales Store teams to design and build complete solution. • Work with the current Configurator and Inventory team to ensure compatibility with existing and new Configurator models and code • Design and write Configurator Extensions based on knowledge of Oracle*s Configurator Interface Objects (CIO) • Provide detailed estimates for analysis, design, build, and unit testing • Write design documents for Java code, SQL procedures and Configurator Extensions • Work with other IT functional areas during requirements and analysis phases of the release process • Work with business users to develop test case scenarios that will be used by the QA team • Unit test code changes, prepare test plans and adhere to established coding standard • Work with the QA team to resolve testing issues • Resolve SRs (Service Requests) related to various modules with Oracle Support • Update HP Quality Center or other release tools as part of the release management process • Participate in team meetings • Document ways to improve existing team processes • Provide regular progress reports to team management Knowledge & Skills Required The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: • Minimum five years developing Java, JSP code as well as PL/SQL Procedures • Familiarity with AJAX, JavaScript, UI Design • Minimum three years of professional experience performing business analysis and end-user support with Oracle applications, with some R12 experience preferred • Knowledge of Oracle Configurator Interface Objects (CIO) preferred • Knowledge of Oracle Applications including iStore, HTML Quoting, Configurator, and Service Contracts • Knowledge of Oracle Sales, Inventory, Bills of Material, Installed Base, and OM • Knowledge of Oracle CZ, OKS, IBE, and ONT schemas • Ability to systematically analyze problems and propose algorithmic solutions • Knowledge of HP Quality Center or equivalent tools a plus • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodologies a plus • Ability to work autonomously and proactively • Ability to multi-task, to work under pressure, and meet deadlines • A firm understanding of the software development life cycle including the analytical skills necessary to satisfy testing documentation and Change Management requirements. • Self-motivated and able to take initiative Regards, Chander Dhaliwal GetLive Consulting Inc.
