Job Description:
The Oracle eBusiness Suite System Administrator provides enterprise-
wide, Oracle support for production and development environments. This
role includes setting up security and user management, configuring
flexfields, managing concurrent processes and scheduled requests,
ensuring compliance with accepted auditing procedures and setting up
other essential applications features such as profile options.


Qualifications:
•       Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience - bachelor's degree in computer science, management
information systems, or related field preferred
•       One or more years of systems administration,  development or
analysis experience
•       Extensive knowledge and understanding of the concepts, theories, and
aspects of computer science, business applications systems and
software applications
•       Knowledge of all aspects of the Oracle ERP System Administrator
responsibility a plus
•       Sense of system ownership and a passion to keep the system running
optimally
•       SQL and PL / SQL skills
•       Strong Unix (preferable Solaris) skills
•       Familiarity with HA (High Availability) and DR (Disaster Recovery)
concepts
•       Excellent written and oral communication skills
•       Ability to work with diverse staff and end users
•       Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously
•       Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to meet
deadlines and budgets
•       Meticulous documentation skills

Candidates must possess knowledge/experience with many of the
following:
•       Application Security (users, menus, and responsibilities)
•       Understanding of Core Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), Purchasing,
Inventory, HR, Payroll, Projects
•       System Profiles, Flexfields, Value sets, and Lookups
•       Managing concurrent programs
•       PPM experience a plus, ability to perform production migrations
unassisted
•       Experience with shared appl_top, 10G application server, and OID/SSO
•       Experience with Designer Repository”/”HeadStart for Apps
