The position will be for 2nd shift on Wednesday - Saturday. The hours will
be 11:00 AM – 9:15 PM. Let me know if you need anything else and when you’re
ready for me to create the PAR.
Skill Set (Network Problem Management teams):
The individual in this position is required to have the
following experience/skills:
1 Strong Cisco background. Cisco certifications are
recommended.
2. Experience on Cisco router/switch configurations and
troubleshooting
3. Ability to perform complex troubleshooting to isolate,
diagnose, and correct network problems
4. Strong customer service and communication skills (both
verbal and written)
5. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN environment and experience
working with LAN/WAN technologies
6. Knowledge of various network protocols including: TCP,
UDP, ESP, IP
7. Knowledge of various network routing protocols: IGRP, RIP,
OSPF, BGP
8. Knowledge of WAN communications mediums including:
Frame-relay, ISDN, HDLC, SONET, MPLS
9. Knowledge of WAN capacity management including: sniffer
and other management tools
10. Experience working with Wireless Access Points
11. Experience working with VPN Concentrators
12. Experience with circuit testing and turn-up
