Database Administrator * Responsible for database design, implementation, updates and maintenance * Monitor daily jobs including data loading processes, backups and replications * Review and develop stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views in support of application development projects * Create users and roles maintaining necessary database permissions * Encrypt data and follow other data security best practices * Manage database version changes across production, test and development databases during application release upgrades * Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and standards relating to Microsoft SQL Server environment * Involved in the evaluation of new releases of MS SQL Server, service packs and database tools * Create and maintain database infrastructure documentation and data dictionary * Manage database version changes across production, test and development databases during application release upgrades Qualifications: * 5+ years of SQL Server Database Administration with SQL Server 200x * Strong knowledge in TSQL, replication and sql clustering * Must be able to setup and manage databases with SQL Server * Must have strong diagnostic and problem solving skills * Must be able to work cooperatively with infrastructure support admin personnel * Must be able to manage time effectively and work on multiple project timelines * Knowledge in SQL Server 2008, Reporting Services and SSIS a plus Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
