7mo+ contract Face to face onsite WMS Developer *Job Description: * Seeking an experienced Warehouse Management System Analyst/Developer for a 7 month contract opportunity with a client of ours in Atlanta, GA. This position is for a Warehouse Management Systems Analyst. This position responsibilities could include: ? Documenting technical specifications at a detailed level allowing offshore development. ? Coding various programs with multiple technologies on AIX operating systems ? Develop, Create or review unit test scripts for code ? Creating project objectives/plans for individual contribution ? Communicating necessary project status to project manager and leads ? Assist with training and roll out plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems ? Create and/or maintain documentation This position requires ? Ability to write advanced sql statements to Oracle and SQL databases ? Ability to write programs in Java, 3 years experience ? Warehouse Management Systems knowledge of greater than three years with a software provider like Manhattan Associates, Red Prairie, Sterling Commerce/IBM, Oracle/Retek, Catalyst, EXE, etc ? Prefer Manhattan WMS ? Open Systems experience ? Thorough understanding of warehouse functional processing from an operational and technology perspective ? 3+ years of supporting configuration and testing of third party WMS System ? Knowledgeable of WMS tables behind the scenes ? Must be logical, analytical, and detail orientated. ? Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills. ?
