Need a Consultant Immediately Sure Shot Placement Job Title :SQL BI Architect Location : Nashville , TN Duration : 6 Month Contract The client prefers candidates holding a Microsoft (MS) "MVP" designation (though not required). A strong Computer Science (CS) foundation is also required. A CS degree is preferred but each candidate must have a strong understanding of CS Laws such as: Cohesion, Coupling and Complexity (only an example of many related laws). The candidate should have excellent consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. The Architect must provide hands-on, repeatable architecture and Proof of Concept development couple with mentoring/training senior developers who are either onsite or offshore. Ongoing responsibilities include regular inspection and architectural reviews through project completion. The Architect must be a guru for MS SQL Server including: Database Design (normalized & de-normalized) ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) via SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Reporting & Analytics via SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) A secondary skill set in Oracle PL SQL or other related databases is preferred.
