QA Analyst
Rate:$35/Hour (MAX)

Location: Fort Worth, TX – *LOCALS ONLY within 50 miles driving distance
MANDATORY**
*Duration: 3-4 months

*Here is a list of tools REQUIRED by the QA team:*

   - Quality Center – test case repository
   - DBVisualizer – SQL editor and DB interface tool
   - PuTTY – terminal emulation client to access a Unix environment
   - Many Unix shell commands including vi (text editor)
   - Basic business productivity software including Excel, Work, etc
   - Possibly tools like Soap UI to send XML messages between systems

This position *WILL NOT* be using automated tools, such as Loadrunner or
Quick Test Pro for this project.



The other skills are mentioned below:

   - Required:  Very strong SQL background;   must understand complex SQL
   queries to extract data from a large number of tables and records
   - Required:  Strong operating skills in Unix;  needs to work in the Unix
   shell to review logs, edit files, execute Unix shell scripts (not necessary
   create the script), including commands to review system performance, view
   system processes or run any other types of operating system administrative
   tasks
   - Required:  Experience with scripting language to manipulate files on
   Unix;  skill could include Unix shell scripting, Perl, awk, sed or similar
   languages and utilities
   - Desired: Previous experience working on a data warehouse project or a
   project dealing the conversion of large sets of data.
   - Desired:  Familiar with data warehouse and relational database
   terminology and environments;  List could include Oracle, Golden Gate or
   other database ETL solutions
