*Position:* *Business Analyst/Test Lead* *Location: Louisville, KY* *Duration:* *5 Months* *Rate: $40/hr * *Role Description* The Business Analyst will ideally have 4+ years experience and will have a proven track record of leading multiple requirements gathering efforts. *Responsibilities include:* - Lead requirements gathering efforts by working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to interpret and document requirements at an appropriate level of detail to ensure readiness for direct utilization by the implementation teams - Consult with the SMEs in understanding processes to create process maps to document requirements and design of the Claims Administration Solution (CAS). - Elaborate on the process maps, analyze business rules to develop detail use cases - Develop conceptual data definitions and document how data is used in processes and business rules - Develop communication materials for requirements reviews and working sessions - Document key insights and business implications of business requirements artifacts for requirements review - Lead in the identification and development of quality management plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for user acceptance based on system requirements. *Required Skills* - Basic familiarity with application technology - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Must be able to work independently and effectively with limited guidance - Has the ability to quickly understand new technologies and business models and be able to evaluate their relevance to achieving business strategy - Proficient in the entire MS-Office Suite, including Visio and Access - Understanding of insurance and current industry trends *Strongly preferred, but not required. * - Deliverables - Process Maps - Business rules - Use cases - Test scenarios - Test scripts - Communication materials (as needed) - Requirements review materials (as needed) *Role – Test Lead (Secondary Role) * *Role Description* The Test Lead will have approximately 5 years of complete testing lifecycle experience including Client is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst/Test Lead with Insurance industry experience (required). The projected start date for the contract engagement is July 6th and should last 3 to 5 months with a possibility for extension. Please be advised that this is one position but has two roles involved. The emphasis is on the Business Analyst role and the Test Lead is a secondary role.
