*Job Title : QA Test Lead* *Location : Santa Clara, California* *Duration : 6-12 Month contract* The ideal candidate will be well versed in testing either OSS/BSS OR i18n within Telco environments. Required Skills: *Minimum of 7 years Software Quality Assurance/Testing (integration, performance, application, product, system, or regression testing) *Minimum of 3 years Team Lead experience leading enterprise level end-to-end testing through each phase of the SDLC *Supervising the designing, coding and testing of program modules *Managing cross-application/cross-enterprise system or product integration testing through offshore test teams *Plan and oversee the software testing effort for multiple projects and project teams. *Review test work products generated by testers to promote quality and consistency of testing products. *Review test results to verify that testing requirements have been met. *Work with management to determine IT testing and testing strategies and standards in order to meet project goals. *Coordinate activities and establishes priorities to ensure deadlines are met within budget. *Work with project management to identify a project's testing requirements and to isolate where problems might likely occur on a given project. *Review specifications (business, functional and technical) for technical accuracy, feasibility, testability, and clarity. *Map test cases to requirements. *Accurately communicate test status to project management and the Lead Software Engineer on a regular basis. *Help define best practices, develops test plans, and documents processes and procedures.
