They use MySQL for database. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Formal Job Description: Senior level Java developer to work on a team of developers to build a J2EE system using Spring and Hibernate frameworks working from use cases and technical specifications. Ideal candidate can translate use cases into technical specifications, design solutions from technical specifications, write and test the code to complete development and implementation of the use case. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining successful software systems. Strong software development experience and analytical approach to problem solving is a must. Incumbent will be expected to work well within a team of software engineers. Essential Core Functions: Participate in designing, developing, testing, and documenting new J2EE system. Follow design methodologies, object-oriented design and design patterns as defined in the project standards. Work well in a team of Java developers using an iterative development approach. Develop Java solutions within a Spring/Hibernate framework. Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience: BS or Masters Degree in a related technical, scientific or engineering discipline and/or 4+ years of related experience. 4+ years experience in Java web development is required. *Experience with Spring MVC, Struts and Hibernate frameworks are strongly desired. * Experience with JMS is strongly desired. *Experience with Unit test frameworks like JUnit is strongly desired.* Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience required. *Strong RDBMS and SQL skills required.* Building OO systems using a structured methodology.
