If we receive a suitable resume, we plan to go ahead and conduct interviews before the date of closing on this requisition.***** *Job description:* The development started in Jan 2008 and is heading for production in Dec 2010. The code development is scheduled to be completed by 9/30. The candidate is expected to hit the ground running and the existing developers may not be able to contribute significant time in bringing the new resource up to speed. The candidate must be able to work independently. *Job Qualifications:* Looking for a Senior J2EE professional, must have worked on technical analysis, design and development of enterprise applications using MVC architecture. The application development involves interfaces with multiple systems. Must have a minimum 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE development. Understanding of core design patterns and development standards is essential. Candidate must have experience in working with multiple aspects of software development life cycle – Technical analysis, Design, Development, Unit test, Code reviews, Code Integration, Deployment, Unit Testing and Bug fixing. 3+ years of experience in creating the high level and low level module designs: Ideal candidate would have authored and published design documents. Should be able to create sequence and class diagrams based on the use case specifications and system architecture. Must be able to create data models based on use cases. 6+ years of programming experience in multi-tired architecture - EJB3, Web Services, JSP, and XML Candidate must be proficient in using frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and Hibernate. Struts 2 experience preferred, but not mandatory. Candidate must have experience working with Oracle databases and be able to perform SQL queries. Experience in design and development of system interfaces with legacy systems (Mainframe) – Messaging (JMS), real time (Web services), and batch feeds Should be willing to learn and work on new areas as needed, must be a team player GUI experience is a plus for those who are strong at all areas mentioned above *Job responsibilities: * The candidate will implement functional use cases and/or integration components and/or change requests till 9/30 and will be supporting testing, bug fixing and deployment till 12/31. The candidate will be performing the following activities with minimal or no supervision. Technical analysis of use cases and functional requirements Technical analysis of system interface specifications Design functional modules/components/technical services. Develop functional modules.
