Kindly send your resumes to [email protected] Position: J2EE Programmer/Analyst Location: Willoughby Hills, OH Duration: 5 months Rate : Open *Job Description:* § Programmer/Analyst who has demonstrated the capability to perform Analysis, Design, and Development for small to mid-size applications using J2EE technologies. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency working with web applications (Java, Hibernate, Struts) running on application servers (JBOSS preferred). The ability to design and develop database server-side code is a plus. Requirements for this position also include working closely with customers to define and capture requirements. The candidate must be able to translate those requirements into design documents that they may work from individually or that may be used by other teams to develop the desired software. *Responsibilities/Duties:* § Demonstrates analysis, design and development for small to mid-size applications using J2EE technologies. Demonstrates proficiency working with JBOSS web applications with Oracle database backend. Works with customers, project manager and technical partners in an Agile environment to develop and modify applications based on UML requirements. § Works as a J2EE Analyst, Designer, and Developer on software projects for various corporate and divisional customers (Finance, HR, etc). § Learns various technologies quickly and applies that knowledge to our customers’ needs. § Manages all software development duties following the Company's project management methodologies. § Adds value to a particular business process or group of processes. Partners with our business customers to identify solutions that will improve business process to deliver superior benefits. Able to articulate the business value and impact of proposed changes. § Recognizes the impact/involvement of all IT sub-groups for a given project. Take responsibility for informing and coordinating the work of other IT groups, as related to a given project. § Creates innovative solutions, suggests new technologies and participates in standards process. § Leads communications of increasing scope across an entire process initiative. Coordinates customer/supplier meetings. Engages senior leadership as needed. § Demonstrates the ability to estimate end to end processes. Demonstrate the ability to estimate remaining effort. § Provides regular status updates to project stakeholders. *Requirements:* § Four-year degree in computer science or related field or five years experience with IT analysis / programming. § 5 years experience writing Java web applications. § Must have ability to quickly assimilate the business team’s terminology and understand their critical success factors. § Experience in Java based web applications using Hibernate, Struts, JSP’s and POJO. § Experience in Oracle 9.x or higher db, SQL, PL/SQL. § Good written and verbal communication skills a must. $ Good problem solving and design skills required. § Track record of successfully executing the software development life cycle. § Experience with application server environments (BEA / JBOSS experience a plus). § Familiar with any/all of the following a plus: XML, XSLT, JavaScript, UML, Tibco, LoadRunner, UNIX scripting, perl, job scheduling, ClearCase, Mercury IT Governance § Must be able to work in a team environment as well as individually.
