Email questions. *Job Description*: *COMMUNICATION skills -- VERY important *Subject Matter Expert in Business Objects Support/Administration *5+ years of experience with BO XIR2 support/administration *BO XIR3 -- as much as possible -- version is two years old. *Must have supported developers before *BO -- on Windows! SQL Oracle eXcelsius -- a MUST Senior Business Objects Administrator with 6+ yrs experience in BO Administration. This candidate must be a subject matter expert in Business Objects XIR2 / XIR3. This position is part of DAS (Data Administration Svs) group providing 24x7 BI Admin support for developers and application teams Livingston & Bangalore, India. Administering Business Objects Enterprise Framework for large-scale deployments - Assist in development and implementation of Business Objects backup and recovery plans - Plan, Administer and Maintain Business Objects folder hierarchy and security. - Perform troubleshooting / tuning CMS and server tuning parameters for Business Objects XI R2 / R3 environments. - Research and implementation of potential refinements and improvements in the Business Intelligence architecture - Plan and test patches and new releases to all Business Intelligence tools - Develop effective standards, best practices, procedures and key metrics to enhance operational stability of the tools supported - Develop support procedures for Business Objects version XIR2 / XIR3 infrastructure - Migration from XIR2 to XIR3 platform. - Document infrastructure architecture and define standards for installing and maintaining Business Objects. - Need an understanding of SQL Server and Oracle administration as it pertains to the environment - Analytical support of System and Business requirements are clearly documented and understood in relation to system and application maintenance - As the Business Objects expert you will also support the setup, implementation and integration of the Business Objects and Windows platforms.
